NISH Begins Pursuit of its New National Brand Identity
Fairfax, VA- February 1, 2004- NISH (formerly National Industries for the Severely Handicapped) has recently engaged BrandSync, a strategic branding company, to develop a focused, powerful brand identity. The new identity will enable NISH to be the voice for the severely disabled-in terms of providing quality of life through employment opportunities.
This brand identity will also tie into and support the overall brand position of the JWOD program and its key stakeholders (The Committee for Purchase), customers (federal purchasing agents), and suppliers (CRPs.)
BrandSync will employ its proprietary Brand Synchronization process that develops "synchronized" brands by discovering the core values and attributes of an organization that satisfy the competing interests of customers, employees and stakeholders-and aligns them towards a common purpose. This synchronization process is especially important for the NISH Branding initiative because of the competing interests of customers, employees and stakeholders. As an outcome of the Brand Synchronization process, the NISH organization will be aligned toward a common purpose in the service of people with disabilities.
