Davenport & Company Takes the Course of Strategic Branding

RICHMOND, VA- November 19, 2003- BrandSync is providing project management, strategy and design services to Davenport & Company so that it may enhance and maintain its strong identity for business development purposes. BrandSync is developing marketing materials as well as brand strategy to guide and focus all marketing endeavors and activities. The development of a communications plan and marketing playbook are also being undertaken by BrandSync on behalf of Davenport & Company.

BrandSync is conducting a consensus-building Brand Synchronization program to gain firm-wide support for the strategic and creative direction. The Davenport & Company organization is engaged in the effort of aligning with Davenport & Company's brand promise.

For the Brand Synchronization process, an internal research exercise was conducted with key management, as well as a web-based survey of employees and a mail survey of customers. The outcome of this process is intended to focus the corporate culture and unify it behind a strategic and creative direction. With the branding platform in place, Davenport & Company has begun to develop its identity by re-branding its logo, tagline and promotional materials.
